About...

…Us
We have local representation across the UK. If you are a national company, you can liaise with just one operator, us, to create iPIX virtual tours at each of your locations. One contract, one invoice, one simple way to a great, cost-effective online experience for your customers.

…Planning
If yours is a single establishment, or you are fairly certain of what you want to achieve, then we can probably arrange everything via phone and email. We will discuss the number of images, the day of the shoot and costs. We will also arrange a date and time to do the shoot.

If you are a larger establishment, would like to discuss terms face to face, have more needs or are part of a group, then we will send a representative to visit you at your premises. We can then plan out the entire schedule and you will be presented with a simple, one contact, one contract solution.

…Web, CDs or both
Are you looking to use virtual tours on your website, or would you like to distribute them on CD to your prospective customer? We can supply CDs with the virtual tours at very reasonable rates. Please call for rates.

…Resolution
We will also discuss the resolution possibilities. Higher resolution = better tour but also means longer download times – this is generally ok with a corporate audience sourcing facilities etc, as they are normally on Broadband. You may need to consider slightly lower resolution images for home use however, where you are targeting the general public. That said, Broadband has now reached critical mass in the UK, so more and more people see these images very quickly indeed.

…the day of the shoot
We will arrive at your establishment in good time to discuss exactly what we’re going to do, and gain your approval. Please be aware that due to our exacting standards each image can take around 30 minutes to shoot and check on the laptop – so please allow plenty of time.

Our experience will allow us to suggest good ideas for tours, and make decisions around lighting etc. On the subject of lighting – this is all-important with virtual tours – each image has to be shot under the same conditions or poor results would follow. Some virtual tour companies may not take the time that we do in these areas – subsequently their tours may not do full justice to your establishment.

We would normally ask that you prepare any rooms or areas as you would like them to appear on the tour. We will then take several shots of each tour and load the resultant images on to our laptop.

We then quickly put the images together and ask you to sign a preliminary approval form once you have viewed them. This means simply that you have been shown the images and feel they look good. Please bear in mind these are not the finished article. Ours is a similar process to normal photography where you may get to view a picture on the viewer of the camera, and approve it verbally prior to seeing the developed version a few days later.

…Our commitment to you
We’ve had a good look around the various websites out there and have to say that the popularity of virtual tours is obviously increasing. However, there are plenty of virtual tour providers who perhaps don’t go that extra mile to produce a very high-quality image.

We guarantee against faulty or shoddy workmanship – we will return to your premises at any time should you be dissatisfied in any way.
We agree to be at your premises on time.
We agree to create as little disruption as possible.
We commit to providing you with your completed tour/s within one working week of the day of the shoot.

…Your commitment to us
You agree to allocate time aside to ensure things go smoothly on the day of the shoot.
You agree to preparation of the rooms in question.
You agree to approve the raw images on the day.
